Florin Enescu
Florin Enescu, Guidelines ministry associate in Romania, has been busy working with Calvary Chapel the first quarter of 2009 as they launched “The Year of the Gospel.” They finished the 10-week “Gospel Series,” where they learned what the Gospel is, why it is important and how to defend it. They are currently studying the Book of Romans on Wednesday nights, when they meet for home fellowship.
Florin also did the “Equipped to Serve” seminar, a discipleship series, as well as the “The Bible Overview” seminar for several Calvary Chapel churches in Romania.
A dental team from the USA and Germany visited their church in March-April to help with simple dental problems—meaning, treatment that did not require electric equipment. This outreach was a great opportunity to reach non-believing family and friends. Two young ladies prayed to receive Jesus Christ as a result of the outreach.
At the beginning of the second quarter, Florin spearheaded the one-day Annual Calvary Chapel Conference at their church. This year’s theme is “grace” as they desire for people to understand what the Lord has done for us and why we need to spread His grace to all.
Florin is also planning to take in more kids for the School Project of their Kids Ministry as summer approaches. He especially wants prayers for the kids as they mostly come from families without good discipline and are very “wild,” to quote him.
