Guidelines International Ministries is a global Christian nonprofit. We produce biblical, audio devotional content that is translated into over 20 different languages. We partner with Christian media ministries worldwide to air those programs on radio and stream them online. Our mission is to encourage, equip and bring hope in Jesus to new believers,  the unreached, new believers, and those living under persecution.

We are a small team of 6 based in Mission Viejo, CA.

About This Role

You will oversee all digital and print marketing campaigns. This involves creating the strategy, overseeing a freelance team, and executing on the tasks. You will help shape and maintain the voice and brand of Guidelines, create short-term and long-term marketing strategies, directly create the assets and implement them. Your overall goal is to increase our audience and engagement and help expand our donor base.


  • Ensure daily devotional content is scheduled and published on website, email, and podcast platforms
  • Create and send marketing emails to share ministry updates and fundraise
  • Source stories and testimonies from ministry partner updates for marketingcontent
  • Maintain and update website
  • Oversee creation, scheduling and publishing of social media content on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Assist in coordinating print marketing pieces such as newsletters and brochures
  • Create ideas and scripts for ministry videos, and oversee their production
  • Manage Google Ads grant for nonprofits
  • Brainstorm and create optin resources for lead generation
  • Track and share monthly analytics on engagement and fundraising
  • Manage remote freelance team to develop creative assets
  • Be able to jump in and do creative and administrative work yourself – graphic design, copywriting, social media, web management


  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing, some with nonprofits
  • Strong skills in WordPress
  • Strong understanding of best web management practices
  • Moderate knowledge of SEO
  • Experience in email marketing and platforms
  • Experience with social media marketing
  • Strong copywriting skills, particularly in marketing and fundraising copy
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Ads

Preferred, but not required

  • Experience in print marketing
  • Experience in Christian ministry
  • Experience using Elementor page builder
  • Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS
  • Experience using Mailchimp
  • Basic graphic design skills
  • Experience managing Google Ads for Nonprofits grant
  • Basic video editing skills
  • Experience with Bloomerang donor management system
  • Experience with Fundraise Up/Bloomerang integration

Work Environment

  • Full time, location to be discussed.
  • Salary dependent on qualifications
