And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory. Colossians 3:4

People love a good reveal. The moment the curtain lifts, the doors open, or the camera pulls back—and suddenly everything is different.

From home makeovers to talent competitions, the grand reveal has become a global favorite. Something in us craves that moment of surprise and discovery.

But the grandest reveal of all time is yet to come.

For more than two thousand years, people have followed Jesus Christ, yet none of us alive today have seen Him in person. After His resurrection, one of Jesus’s followers refused to believe He was alive until he saw the wounds for himself. When Jesus appeared to him, He said, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me” (John 20:29).

It’s hard for us to believe without seeing. That tension is at the heart of faith. The Bible explains it this way: “ … faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen” (Hebrews 11:1 CSB). If you’re a Jesus follower who gets weary in faith, take heart. The Bible book of Colossians gives us this promise. It says, “And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory” (Colossians 3:4).

The day is coming when you will see. The whole world will see Jesus—alive, ruling, over everyone and everything. Scripture says, “ … at the name of Jesus every knee will bow—in heaven and on earth and under the earth—and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10-11 CSB).

You haven’t seen Him yet. But that day is coming—and when it does, there will be no question of who Jesus is.
