It started with a flat tire in the rain. What came next put her life in danger.
Hana’s car struck a rock during a downpour, leaving her stranded with a flat tire. A kind man stopped to help and invited her to wait in his car while he changed the tire. As she sat there, she listened to the Gospel of John playing through the speakers. “Are you a Christian?” Hana asked the man.
Only two years earlier, Hana had demanded a divorce after her husband became a Christian.

Hana and Samia cannot gather openly with other Christians. For them, these devotionals are their only source of biblical encouragement.
The Bible says, “Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies” (Hebrews 13:3).
