But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? Romans 10:14

She didn’t preach or pressure—she simply lived like Jesus mattered.

Maya was a college student who loved Jesus—but she wasn’t sure how to show it. Her roommate didn’t believe in God. Not wanting to be pushy or awkward, Maya prayed, “God, help me show Your love.”

She started by reading her Bible when her roommate was around—not to make a point, but because she didn’t want to hide it. She chose kindness when others gossiped. She didn’t chase empty relationships or popularity. She listened when her roommate was hurting. Her life became a quiet but steady testimony.

That’s just how sharing the good news of Jesus often begins.

Maybe you’re following Jesus but are afraid to speak up, thinking, “What if I ruin the friendship? What if I say the wrong thing?” In many places in the world, followers of Jesus could die just for saying the name of Jesus aloud. And some do. Their sacrifice reminds us of something else: they live in the reality of knowing that one out of every three people have yet to hear how deeply they’re loved—that forgiveness and new life is waiting for them.

So, ask God for the right moment. And when the time comes, give the reason for your hope. Thousands of years ago, another Jesus-follower who suffered for his faith asked this: “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him?” (Romans 10:14)

If you’ve heard the good news about God’s desire and plan for relationship with us, you’re already part of the plan to share it. Someone told you. And now someone’s waiting for you to tell them.
