Mission Viejo, CA—Harold Sala, pioneer of the five-minute commentary for Christian radio, has passed leadership responsibilities for Guidelines International Ministries, now in its 53rd year of broadcasting, to Bonnie Sala Craddick. Dr. Sala will serve as board chairman and focus on broadcasting, speaking internationally and writing.
As Guidelines’ chief executive officer for the past two years, Bonnie has expanded the ministry’s international broadcasts, online presence, spearheaded the Guidelines Legacy Project and developed ministry to women.
Described as “the shortest five-minutes in Christian radio,” the Guidelines Commentary is heard in 49 states and in 112 countries, in 11 languages. The Guidelines Legacy Project exists to establish community-based radio stations and equip partners on the ground to provide Bible-based, people- oriented programming, in completely unserved areas.
Guidelines’ ministry focuses on reaching people who need relationship with God through media and literature, teaching them Biblical principles to live out the life of Christ, and touching hurting lives in practical ways. An NRB member for over four decades, Guidelines is a prayer-based ministry and does not solicit funds on air.
