“Be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Those are the words of Ephesians 6:18 urging us on in prayer! Just as Moses interceded for the Israelites in Exodus 32, our calling is to advocate for the lost, the persecuted, and those bound by sin. When God prompts us to intercede, it’s because He intends to act in the lives of those we pray for.
Guidelines listener, Roza, recently wrote to us about prayer. She lives in Albania where access to Christian resources is limited and she relies on Guidelines radio programming as a source for spiritual growth. She writes:
“I am a grandmother, and God blessed me with a wonderful family, three daughters and five grandchildren. My prayer for them is that they will know the Lord. Every time they come to visit my house I always have the radio on. Your programs have helped me to share the gospel with my children and grandchildren. Because of those programs we have had many conversations that have resulted in prayers for our family. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for encouraging me in our journey of faith. I know how important prayer is.”
Your prayers and support for Guidelines bring God’s message into homes worldwide, which leads others to prayer, just like Roza and her family. As we remain faithful, God’s kingdom continues to multiply.
How is God nudging your heart to intercede for others? As He moves us to pray for others, let’s not forget those with limited gospel access or those who are hearing God’s love for the first time.
