You Helped Share Jesus in a New Language: Macedonian

At the end of 2018, we asked you to dream big with us. God was opening up new doors to share His love in 2019, and we needed to follow His call.

You faithfully answered that call with your overwhelming generosity! Because of your giving, we were able to start the new year with something we’ve prayed a long time for.

We are able to share the message of Jesus in a new language: Macedonian!

Macedonian is spoken in the countries of Macedonia, Eastern Albania, and Northern Greece. This area in Eastern Europe has experienced ongoing conflict, and there is a lot of hatred between the various ethnic groups.

It’s a place that desperately needs the peace and love of Jesus. But the Christian community is small – only 0.3% in this region. This population also receives very few resources since many organizations don’t focus on this area.

Yet similar to God calling Paul to this region nearly 2,000 years ago, we feel a strong call from God as well:

“That night Paul had a vision: A man from Macedonia in northern Greece was standing there, pleading with him, ‘Come over to Macedonia and help us!’” – Acts 16:9, NLT.

Your generosity helped to translate the Guidelines For Living devotional into Macedonian to be aired through our broadcast partner, Radio Emmanuel. They will share these valuable messages of Jesus twice a day, five days a week, over three frequencies throughout this entire year.

Because of you, two million Macedonian speakers have the opportunity to hear the life-transforming words of God this year, every day, in their own language.

What a way to kick off 2019! And God is only getting started.
